We did it, we won!
You can imagine my excitement when I was notified that I won DIAMOND in Shopping - Beauty Supplies in the 2019 St. Catharines Standard Reader's Choice awards. For days I walked around with a huge smile on my face, I was blown away! Blown away that my customers, supporters, friends, family + YOU voted for me.
Running a small business is hard, there is no doubt about that. There are so many challenges, especially when creating products that are 100% natural, vegan + low/zero waste. Sometimes, you just have to go with your gut; stay true to your morals. In a world where people seem to want products as cheap as possible, free shipping, fast shipping, etc. I am humbled that you all voted for me, believe in me.
It is little things like this that will slowly change the world. Sharing your favourite local businesses who care about the environment, shopping local to lessen your consumer footprint + strengthening your local economy.
With all of that said, I truly want to thank you for your continued support over the last 6+ years. I am so honoured to be able to create plant based products for all of you to enjoy in your daily lives. Congratulations to all of the other local businesses won in our category + other categories!
